Storytelling works! No surprise, didn’t we go to sleep as children only after hearing a story? Today, if we remember experiences from the past, we automatically fabricate our own stories. Storytelling moves not only the head, it also moves the heart, our emotions. Thus, can storytelling be a method for critical education? We suggest: Just to put a message into the form of an exciting and thrilling story does not yet suffice for a method that supports critical thinking. But stories offer entry points for critical learning.

Qualitätsvolle Bildungsarbeit fällt weder vom Himmel noch kann sie einfach vorausgesetzt werden. Es können auf Organisationsebene und direkt in den Seminaren zahlreiche Maßnahmen gesetzt werden, um eine gelebte Kultur der Qualität zu entwickeln und zu leben.
Erwachsenenbildung lebt vom zusammenarbeiten, teilen und voneinander lernen. Aus diesem Grund haben wir Kolleg*innen aus unterschiedlichsten Bildungsbereichen eingeladen, ihre Erfahrungen und Ideen zur Umsetzung in die Praxis mit anderen zu teilen und die Vielfältigkeit des Qualitätsverständnisses und der Qualitätssicherung aufzuzeigen.

Methoden, Methoden, Methoden: Drei Tage lang haben die Teilnehmer*innen Methoden für die verschiedensten Situationen im Seminar kennengelernt und ausprobiert und so ihr eigenen Werkzeugkoffer für Vermittlung von Lerninhalten aufgefüllt.
