What do I get out of knowing how to work with groups?

In the #grumo, Gerda Kolb and Irene Zavarsky deal with groups and everything that entails: expectations, getting to know each other, conflicts, disturbances, dynamics, good beginnings and fast finales. The aim is not to articulate absolute truths, but to point out possibilities for (re)acting in the respective situations and therefore to expand the readers‘ repertoire of actions and to promote productive exchange. Was bringt mir das Wissen über die Arbeit mit Gruppen?

Im #grumo beschäftigen sich Gerda Kolb und Irene Zavarsky mit Gruppen und allem was dazu gehört: Erwartungen, Kennenlernen, Konflikte, Störungen, Dynamiken, gute Einstiege und rasante Finishes. Es geht dabei nicht darum absolute Wahrheiten zu formulieren, sondern Möglichkeiten aufzuzeigen, wie in den jeweiligen Situationen (re)agiert werden kann und so das Handlungsrepertoire der Leser*innen zu erweitern und produktiven Austausch zu fördern. Kommentare über eigene Erlebnisse und Strategien sind herzlich Willkommen und sehr erwünscht!

In everyday seminar life, surprises and challenges keep popping up that make even the most seasoned participants stop and think for a moment. At their last meeting before the holidays, our five experts on working with groups will share strategies for contingency plans. They start with a short flash to see how everyone is doing at the moment. To know whose turn it is, they pass a biro from picture to picture. This alone provides amusement in the first few minutes.
